OpenSwap Introduces Bridge Founders Program

What is the Bridge Founders Program?

In light of OpenSwap Bridge launching on testnet, we would like to introduce our community members to a bridge-focused initiative called the Bridge Founders Program, a collaborative campaign that will help OpenSwap identify and secure future crosschain liquidity upon releasing of our crosschain bridge on mainnet, and assist Bridge Founders in unlocking the limitless potential of enabling their token to additional liquidity from other chains.

Bridge Founders are essentially top-tier token projects that are handpicked and invited by the OpenSwap team to become part of the first cohort in integrating with the OpenSwap crosschain bridge. They will be DeFi projects from OpenSwap supported chains such as Binance Smart Chain and Avalanche, and shows a good record of sustainable TVL and a healthy community of token holders.

For OpenSwap, this program will help enhance liquidity synergies for our bridge in addition to our strong network of existing strategic partners, further solidifying and securing bridge liquidity as well as cross-community token adoptions.

How does this benefit community members and holders?

As with OpenSwap, our Bridge Founders are also community-focused DeFi projects with great goals aligned. We share similar visions and see eye-to-eye in many areas such as true decentralization, transparency, and building with a community-first focus. As such, the Bridge Founders Program is structured in a way that would benefit all community members in the following way:

• Secure and sustainable liquidity on OpenSwap Bridge upon mainnet release.
• Additional access points to trade Bridge Founder’s tokens on other chains as long as the chain is supported by OpenSwap.
• Bridge Founder’s community members will have early access to OpenSwap Bridge.
• $OSWAP rewards and airdrop campaigns to selected users whitelisted by Bridge Founders.
• Featuring Bridge Founder’s testnet tokens on OpenSwap Bridge testnet.
• Future cross-community incentives such as farming and bridge vault staking opportunities.

What’s Next?

At OpenSwap, we are super excited to onboard our first cohort of Bridge Founders as this will greatly help with the initial launch of the OpenSwap Bridge. We also look forward to helping DeFi projects unlock additional liquidity from different chains and growing together as tight-knit strategic partners!
