As OpenSwap recently announced its partnership with MOVE Network, we are thrilled to announce the release of 12 more Bridging Troll NFTs. The team anticipates an increased demand for these Bridge Troll NFTs generated with Chainlink’s VRF due to the soon-to-be-open marketplace by MOVE Network and our ongoing expansion to Avalanche, a leading layer 1 smart chain!

These NFTs are rewards for our loyal followers who can obtain these NFTs by staking their $OSWAP tokens in the Troll Camp portal. We hope by releasing 12 more Bridge Troll NFTs, new followers of ours can also get a chance to own their very own Bridge Troll NFTs that are not only cute but also with REAL DeFi utility. The new supply of Trolls will be available in the Troll Camp portal after 17:00 (SGT) on 14 Jan.

Our new releases include 8 Hungry Baby Trolls, 3 Happy Baby Trolls, and 1 Hunny Baby Trolls. The holders of these NFTs will receive periodic airdrops and potentially unannounced NFT giveaways too. What Are Bridge Troll NFTs for?

For those who are not familiar with our Bridge Trolls NFTs, they play a key role in our coming single-asset crosschain bridge, Open Interchain Protocol. Operators will be required to have a Bridge Troll NFT in the operating address in order to run a Bridge Troll node.

These Bridge Trolls are at the core of our Open Interchain Protocol, performing tasks such as monitoring transaction requests, verifying and signing transactions for withdrawals of funds on different chains.

Even though we will be sad to anyone parting ways with us, there are a few points you should note if you are planning on trading away your OpenSwap NFT.

Burning your Bridge Troll NFT would only return you the exact amount of $OSWAP staked. This means if a person staked 25,000 OSWAP tokens for a Hungry Troll and now hypothetically a Hungry Troll requires staking 50,000, what happens when he burns his Troll NFT :( and unstake, he would only get 25,000 tokens back. It might be difficult to distinguish the batch the Trolls belong to, so be careful when buying Bridge trolls on the MOVE marketplace, check the properties for the amount staked for the NFT. Since our Troll NFTs are a rather special kind of NFTs that has a utility and a ‘buy-back’ price, we expect the floors of our NFTs to be around the amount of $OSWAP staked to get the NFTs.
