We are elated to announce HakuSwap as the first project to join the OpenSwap Bridge Founders Program!

HakuSwap is an all-in-one defi hub on Avalanche with features such as AMM, NFT, and GameFi. This would be a mutually beneficial relationship and we expect more exciting things to happen real soon. At the time of this announcement, HakuSwap is doing more than $3m TVL and growing.

How it Benefits HakuSwap and OpenSwap

During the OpenSwap Bridge testnet phase, we would be including HAKU tokens for users to swap, exposing their project to our testnet users. Meanwhile, HakuSwap’s users can also try out this brand new crosschain swapping solution that OpenSwap is offering.

💥 Enablement of buying $HAKU with USDT on BSC and ETH

One of the unique features the OpenSwap Bridge offers is that we allow users from different chains to purchase a token. For example, HAKU is a token that only exists on Avalanche. Traditionally, if users from a different chain like BSC want to purchase HAKU, they would need to convert and bridge their tokens to Avalanche, for gas and to swap for HAKU tokens.

With the OpenSwap Bridge, users can simply use the stablecoin (in this case USDT) they have available and our routers along with the Trolls will be able to deliver HAKU tokens directly to the users. Any-to-any swap is also one of the features that will be implemented soon, making it even more convenient for users.

What this means for the HakuSwap Community upon OpenSwap Bridge Mainnet Release

First, the aforementioned enablement of crosschain swap will of course be available on the mainnet. With OpenSwap’s crosschain bridge and hybrid smart router integration, HAKU tokens and HakuSwap’s pools would be exposed to liquidity from all other chains we support.

Users can crosschain swap for HAKU tokens directly and be able to access HAKU tokens’ liquidity. This would mean ultimately build towards a higher volume, benefiting both token holders and liquidity providers.

Go to https://testnet.openswap.xyz/#/
Adding the network to Metamask

Simply click the network button on the top bar and select a network, a prompt will pop up on Metamask. Click approve and the network will be added to your Metamask automatically. Change the network to BSC testnet so that no real funds are used.

Currently, our bridge supports Kovan (ETH testnet), BSC Testnet and Avalanche FUJI C-Chain (AVAX testnet). Other wallets might not be supported as of this moment so Metamask is recommended for trial.

3. Getting testnet tokens

Simply go to these sites and get testnet tokens. We recommend getting some testnet BNB to get started. You will also need these tokens for gas fees later on.

4. Purchase USDT on BSC from the Pegged Queue option

5. Select “BSC” as the Source chain and “AVAX” as the Destination Chain

6. Select HAKU Token from the destination chain token list

7. Approve and confirm the transaction
